Giacomo Cardaci borns in 1986. In 2008 he is appreciated by the public for his collection of stories Coccodrilli al Parini (Mondadori, 2008) where he tells the flooding of his high school. With this book he won the Chiara Giovanni and Tondelli awards.

In 2010 he writes a new book La formula chimica del dolore (Mondadori, 2010) where Giacomo and protagonist’s life are mixed  and both have to face the fight against the cancer changing their point of view on persons, life and future.
